Sunday Funday

I woke up Saturday morning with an odd taste in my mouth. I figured my mouth was just dry because I sleep with my mouth WIDE open. 

Nope.

And now it's Sunday and the strange taste still hasn't gone away. It's a metallic-y taste, coming from the back of my lower jaw. I think I've narrowed down where this taste is coming from; my wisdom tooth. It's the tooth that hasn't "broken the seal" yet, but it's almost like I've got a canker sore on the gum line. 

There's really no point to that story. It's just really annoying and I'd very much appreciate it if it went away. 

My weekend consisted of volleyball, a sweet little 2 year old's birthday party at a bouncy house (yes, Kenny and I partook in the bouncing fun), sleep (Kenny's got a cold and I feel mine a'coming), watching the Seahawks game and more volleyball. Oh, and getting to spend some alone time with Kenny. 

I had a chance to go hang with this chicky while she was vacationing in Portland alas, volleyball and my booked-until-2014 schedule did not allow for such a "blate" to happen.

The best thing about working at a financial institution is the holidays! We get all the good holidays off. Take tomorrow for example; Columbus Day. Okay, so technically I don't have the day "off" because we are doing an all-staff annual meeting (at a go-kart racing center!) all day but the offices are closed! 

I get excited over the littlest things.

Speaking of excitement, Halloween is just around the corner. It has to be in my top three all time favey times of the year. My work costume is here (Carly and I are going as 50's Sock Hop girls), and some of me and Kenny's "party" attire has been delivered. I am so freaking excited I can hardly stand it.
